Morning everyone
I cant get to my totals yet, I have reformatted my hard drive on my computer and reinstalled windows. Now need to do all the updates and reinstall all my programs before I can get on my spreadsheet. I havent been saving the totals in months just as a whole for the year.
Luckily OH is on nights all weekend so up asleep and I can use the lap top to get on the internet until my computer is ready to use again.
Couldnt do any surveys this morning, got screened out of all of them but dont mind, wasnt really in the mood for them.
My head was buzzing this morning when I got up this morning, I was all day yesterday sorting out the bits my son gave me to do on Ebay, wanted to do my own listings but use a few bits of his. I took it all out in the garden to do some new photos etc and then got Turbolister to make up the listings. I used to be able to do HTML a few years back when I was making up my own web site (havent got it now) so was trying to work out how to do it all again to get the listing looking how I wanted it. Took practically all day and evening but have managed to upload two items for sale now and will try to remember to do another couple tonight. He used to have it on schedule but I am trying to keep the costs down and you have to pay for that. Hoping I might make a little bit over the next month or so until its all gone.
Love the comment about the girls at the wedding lol, I was trying to think what they reminded me of but couldnt place it but that is exactly what it was, pantomime dames lol.
Feel like I have been up for hours this morning, OH was coming in just after 7 so I had to be up to unlock the door and thought I might as well start on sorting out the other computer. Dont know what else I can do now, cant do anything that makes a noise while he is asleep. May be I will go and sort out some more bits for Ebay.0 -
Morning Rufus. I can never put my totals in because I randomly forget who I am a member of. I am still doing my best though. I just had to get the balance a bit better as my house as getting embarrassing.
My OH put my card in an ATM that he them thought the fascia looked a bit strange on. As I did not see it myself I panicked a bit and cancelled my card and reported the ATM. If I had thought it was dodgy I would have walked away and used a different one.
Got some washing in. Need to get P.E kits ready for school on Tuesday.

Morning everyone - are we all set for the new challenge?
I just popped on quickly to say - if you are up for writing some more quick reviews on shopping, Stuart is accepting the first hundred (the promotion hasn't done as well as he'd hoped), so get writing. He's starting to make payments from tomorrow, but the whole promotion ends on the third.I :heartpuls M.S.E.Mortgage Free 18/01/10 13 years and 8 months early on a 20 year mortgage!

Hi all, all set for May's challenge.
Had a good month in April £86.33 made in a mixture of cash and vouchers. Didn't manage to plant anything and as a student, no council tax to check!
It's a lovely day, hope you enjoy it!Not buying unnecessary toiletries 2024 26/53 UU, 25 IN0 -

thanks for all your well wishes ladies
. I havent managed to come on this weekend as I have had a visitor but shes gone now. The interview yesterday was abit Blah. But to be honest ater hearing about the job, I didnt want it! Was quite a drive away, you work all bank holidays and one saturday a month as standard, and you are expected to stay late every night. There was also a limited oppertunity for progression which is what I really want. But I am definately glad that I went as I learnt SO much. It was my first ever interview so it was definately best that it was for a job I didnt want as it means I have not messed up my chances
. So now I am really excited for my interview on tuesday
.
Thanks for asking about being able to do extra reviews Elysia, I have done mine too. Thats £20 will make a great start to the May totals!
I am off to sort out my april totals now0 -
Challenge 5: May 2011.
1. Toloony
Complete ALL surveys.
Complete ALL polls
Make and Rate Opinions
We know it takes roughly three or four months to receive payment from T, so anything you earn this month will be paid around the end Aug/September. We really NEED to give this a really good go for the next couple of months for all our payments to arrive before October time, in preparation for Christmas.
This has to be done regularly - remember that month when we ALL did each other's polls? - we never redeemed so quickly! Come on ladies (gents) we CAN do it.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
2. Woohoo!!!
Play on any one of a number of free bingo sites, and lets see how much we can make. Not strictly money making with a regular income, but it's a bit of fun, and something different from surveys.
There are several ones I've seen posted on here, woohoo, bingoport, costa and cheeky. Are there anymore that you know of?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
3. Become A Savvy Shopper!
I know the DTD has ended but saying that, the Pricecheck is still a great offer. You can shop at Tesco, get the prices of Asda via the pricematch and still get clubcards points too! Just remember, like before, to keep the shopping with things that are cheaper at Asda separate from things that are cheaper at Tesco.
I'm going to start using coupons more often (coupon thread here) and make more savings.
There is a thread especially for 1p finds at Tesco here
Use any of the online codes available before you purchase anything here
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
4. The fun one! Make something and sell it.
This could be cards, cakes, jewellery or even the seeds you grew last month. Make it and sell it, and see how much you earn.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
If you need any help with organising and planning, Mum2one off the sister thread, puts up some challenges too. Everyone on there are lovely, and just as helpful as this thread. It would be lovely to see you there.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Thank you to everyone who contributes to this thread - we are all doing brilliantly due to the help and support we give each other. We're doing really well - we CAN keep it up.
Other things get in the way sometimes, but we're all here to keep each other motivated. Let's go for it and make May's totals the best yet.
MAY CHALLENGES
1. Toluna : So glad you have put this challenge on as I was just thinking how I really need to focus on this as I have been ignoring it oops! May not manage to do all of it but I will trya nd do more of the surveys as currently I delete them all (been focusing more on Viva and Vo as you see the reward quicker!) so I need to focus on this definately!
2. Not one for bingo sites so will give this a miss and continue with ebaying
3. Savy Shopper: I do not do the shopping in my house so I cant really do this hehe However I do keep my eye on the tesco thread for bargains so will continue to do this
4. Make and Sell Something : Oooh I am glad you have put this one on! I had abit of a sweet business before xmas but have not done anythign to it since then. I dont have to time and opening capital to do what I want to with it so have decided to leave it for now. However, I still have loads of stock! So I was thinking of making up ltos of items and having a last sell off on my fanpage, so now you have given me the push to do it0 -
So glad you think it's ok Giggles. I know not everyone can do all of them, but it's like a pick and mix, as Mum2one off the other thread says.
OOh let us know when you've make the chocs, you never know, you might get some orders.I :heartpuls M.S.E.Mortgage Free 18/01/10 13 years and 8 months early on a 20 year mortgage!
