Hi Esmer - I'm still reading but not got much to report (if anything :o) on the money making front. Seem to be getting screened out of all the surveys too :(

I'm just about keeping up with the T DTD thread but the nearest one to me is about a 30 minute drive so not made any purchases as yet!

Cha97michelle I think there are a few lines that tesco pay you to take away so then if you use your voucher for normal shopping then you will actually be better of (although you will have some items you do not want but you wont have paid for them if you see what I mean). Although I think tesco are on the case with these and changing the prices.

some people have ripped the backside out of it. I didnt buy stuff that I didnt need. I gave in and got the wine, but they will do as some presents. The rest was stuff I will use. Someone got a DTD for over a hundred quid, i see some of it as false economy. I have two 30.00 DTD vouchers, so means my next two weeks shoppings will be free :) I will just be going for my normal shop on Friday, use the voucher, and again the following Friday. Not going to check and see what is bargain central...........

I have only just found this thread but would love to join! I have already done virtually all of my family amd friends birthdays and Christmas presents (thanks mostly to the boots sale after Christmas). I have joined the survey websites and have cashed out on most of them a few times. I think that Christmas will be much less stressful this year!
  • Welcome to you too livermum. Wow you have done well so early into the year, you will have to share your tips with us all :)

Hiya Ladies (and gent) lol. Twinkle last year we had one gent who popped in now and again to tell us about his bargains, and then we didn't see him again for weeks on end. ;) I wonder how he his, he hasn't been in since Christmas. ???

Hello Tranmere - I was wandering how you were! I'm glad all's OK.

Hiya Michelle and Livermum - you are both most welcome to join in, so pull up a chair and get comfy. :D

I've got a DTD voucher but I too will be using it with my regular shopping on Friday - I was scared out of my wits going through the till - I can't do that again. :A

Not much money making here - keep being screened and can't be bothered at the mo. Come on everyone - I need inspiration. Help!!!!!!!

I have a list of things to review on DY - I think I'll set the comp up in the garden and have a good go today. Sun is shining - going to be the nicest day of the year so far today. :j

    Have a good day everyone.

T points have shot up this morning for me so check yours, have managed to redeem on there, now its just a waiting game to see when I get the two vouchers owing. That will be enought for OH's birthday so happy I dont have to worry about that now.

SN I need about 60p to redeem £20, think I managed a survery from them yesterday so hopefully that will update soon.

Havent done any DY for few days as been busy, OH is off this week again and we have things to do but will get back into it again. Think I will just carry on going for the vouchers though as looks such a long way off with the cheque.

Nice to see some newbies on here, welcome to you all, Rufus xx

Hello Liver and Michelle - welcome along :)

A man amongst the ranks?! Men could never be so organised ;)

Elysia, you're doing brilliantly. When I felt down about it all a couple of weeks ago I took a little look at my spreadsheet and my totals. Look at how much you have made and what that has gone towards already, and if you need to get yourself a little something from Amazon, then why the badger not? (I'm not talking about something the size of a KitchenAid!!!) You've worked hard for it and although primarily we are saving up for everyone else, I think it is just as important to treat yourself to something too.

Hi and welcome Michelle and Livermum, I hope you have fun here with us and find it useful :)

Savvy - thanks so much for letting us know about Funkypigeon! I used your code and did my 6 reminders on there so got myself 2 lovely free cards. I chose a Mothers Day photo one for my Mum and then got DH to design one for his Mum. I then created DH a Funkypigeon account, and got 2 more cards - one for my Dad for Fathers Day and one for my Brother's 30th birthday, both using photos. I can't wait to see them, everyone's going to love them so much!

Over the weekend I started sorting out a whole load of stuff to Ebay. I found a bag of DS's old toys and bits and bobs that DH had put in the garage ready to go to the tip  I rescued it and told him off! His argument is that I keep saving things to Ebay and it takes me ages (years!) to put it on so it's taking up too much space. So now I'm on a mission to Ebay this lot as quickly as possible. I've done the photos and will write some descriptions tonight. Please keep nagging me as I don't want DH to be able to say 'I told you so'!!

Nicky - get those ebay things done

I put some items on ebay, I`m going to stick to clothes start them at 99p, it all adds up and hopefully it will be less hassle than other things.

Twinkle - im having problems with one poll, dont go on that often, but just tried to log in and i cant.

Well done everyone on the DTD T , i`m definately not doing it, I`d buy everything which would be great but I wouldnt be able to resist everything else in the shop. And since I`ve sent OH out with the shopping list its really cut down our shopping bill.

I`m going to do ocado this week on quidco, they have a ace deal on there at the moment.

Well off out on the disabled outing today, nice day , got my license back..good old doc...

    See you later x
