Penni! Your sock monkeys are so much cooler than mine! I love the hats!
I finally got round to getting some vulling yesterday to stuff my sock monkeys so I'm going to start on them again (after I've finished crochetting my friends baby blanket). I got a massive bag of it for £7.50! Woop woop0 -

Sorry to hear about the car cost Pink, I really feel for you as our car will no doubt need work done to it when the mot is due, think the cambelt will be needing replacement, £300 for that and the tax is due around then too

You lot are so talented, your sock monkeys are gorgeous, and your cupcakes and pizzas are amazing. I wish I had a secret talent I could share with you all.
I was looking and die cutters on amazon earlier and found out I had enough to buy a sizzix big shot express, luckily it went out of stock when I went back for a look

Everyone else have a good weekend x0 -
Just a quickie catch up. Fantastic cupcakes everyone! My kitchen is fully fitted now so I think I'll be baking this weekend, you have inspired me and DS has been nagging to bake all week. For the swirly frosting, do you use a bag with a nozzle thingy?
LOVE the sock monkeys! They are so cute, I really must have a go at making one. That will be my mission for March
Susie - good luck with your fair, I hope it's really successful.
Esmer - glad you got things sorted with little fuss.
I have done a litle bit on Looney but I'm afraid that's about it, I seem to be saying that a lot
Renovating our house is keeping me soooo busy but it's going to be worth it. It already seems like a totally different place and we only moved in 4 months ago. My parents came up yesterday and we got DS's room done, it's fantastic. We've got a huge jungle animal mural for one wall and it looks amazing, DS loves it!
Hope everyone has a productive day

I have put a bit on my blog to help

Hiya, you use an open star nozzle. Most people use a Wilton 1m.
This is a photo here
Mines is similar nozzle, I got it in a lakeland starter kit. When piping the swirls you start from the outside and you swirl into the middle.
When piping the roses, you use a CLOSED STAR You pipe from the centre of the cupcake.
