Hi swan, I've done your polls and a couple of topics.

Does anyone know if it is actually 80 words whatever the length that counts so I or am count as words or whether you have to have an average of so many letters like in a typing test it was 5 strokes I think? I wouldn't want to be putting all this effort in and it still not being long enough.

Esther - I type mine into a Word doc and word count it - I try and do 85+ words as that way they can't moan that it's not enough.

Savvy - sister has a Sony E Book - one of the highest spec ones, but the new Kindle is getting rave review lately, and more my price. ;) It will be here tomorrow - I activated my Amazon Prime trial. :)

Twinkle - Very well done hun.:j I love VO too. I had 20p yesterday in there, and now I'm up to £7.20. I'm only 8p off payout for Crowdlogy but that's only £4 paypal. :rotfl:

Mswan - I was already following you on T. I'll be around everyone tomorrow on there. It may be late though as DD has a birthday party to go to.

She has one on Sunday too - I got a great bargain for pressies. A Hello Kitty money box that counts your money. Was £19.99, I paid £3.99. :D It was from Argos if anyone needs to buy one.

Legend sorry to hear how much the washing machine costs - I'm whispering because ours is on the way out too. As we bought it the same time as the cooker, you bet, they both will go at the same time. :(

  • Elysia - do you have a link for the money box? I've had a look but can't see it, thanks x
    Making money for Christmas 2012!
  • Oh no Legendmum, how awful, I hope you manage to get a good deal on a new one, it always happens at the worst time. Our vacuum cleaner broke shortly before Christmas and we couldn't live without one with dd being 18 months, hubby bought a cheapy one before but I felt it best to buy one decent dyson than several rubbish ones, cost near enough £200 though. Our washing machines door is broken and leaks and our oven has one of the elements broken so takes ages to heat up. Can't afford to replace them until later this year so I too am whispering...

Just had a call from my old insurance company, ignore the letter they say, it was an error, you are still insured for 5 months, SERIOUSLY??! I say, he seemed rather sheepish when I said their error has cost me several hundred pounds today and a whole world of stress, cancel the new policy he says, maybe I should cancel your policy I say... luckily I can get my deposit back next week minus an admin fee which I have expressed the old insurance can pay for. On the bright side no expensive new insurance thankfully.

Well done on your VO totals, they are topping up fast! mine still stuck at £2.50 :rotfl:

Don't forget to cancel your prme subscription in good time Elysia, I always worry I would forget to.

Think this might be the product Elysia was talking about.

  • Happy Birthday Ddraig hope you’ve had a good day.
Legendmum that is frustrating. It always seems to be like that for us. I seem to be getting somewhere then something goes wrong. Last month it was a £300 car bill! Our washing machine is nearly 6 years old and has some serious problems just praying!
I love VO too so far I have had one voucher in January and just waited for a couple of surveys to clear and then I can redeem again, yeah!
Done another review today, not sure if i'm going to hit the challenge target though. Won't be too far off.

A mistake? Could have cost you a fortune. I'd be telling them they are paying the admin fee and more besides....

Sorry Nicky - I've just come back - here it is. (Hello kitty money box) I had to try a few stores first, but I managed to reserve the last two locally - I hope you manage to get one.

Just had a quick look here's some more bargains, if you can get them. Art case - £3.99, Tote bag and Umbrella - £6.99, Pen set - £3.79, Fleece blanket - £6.99

Thanks Aspella - I'll read through the posts next time. ;)

:j Hi everyone, sorry not been about much. Got so much going on lately.

Ds1 has been referred to the mental health department, they suspect he has adhd and mild aspergers. So been very stressed to say the least.

My dss has ADHD he is nearly 18 now so I have gone through all ages, if you need to chat feel free to pm and I'll help all I can.

Legend - my two both went through biting phases and still will bite each other if they get really wound up. I hate it but I know that it is something a lot of children do.

ddraig - hope you have had a fantastic birthday.

I haven't been on for a few days as I have had no internet. Back on line to find 50+ survey invites. Plodded through them tonight and I have screened out of all bar 1  I know some of it is due to not doing them straight away but still frustrating.

I have been enjoying wb although a lot slower to redeem and I do miss chat. Although I recognise names I'm too paranoid to chat now and have used a diff name to here. Damn you bp

Hope everyone has a good weekend

I use a different name on there too Stepmum - A couple of people know who I am though, only the ones who have the same name, they get this stranger talking to them, and it's me. LOL

I'm glad your internet is back up and running. :D

You have a good weekend, and take care xxx
