  • Final little post from me for a while. For those of you that like getting product tests I suggest joining Synovate (Global Opinion Panels). They pay out at 9000 points (£5). I joined in late July 2010 and redeemed this month. It takes a while to get there but I have received several tests from them including: fake tan, handwash, deodrent, shower gel, and have just qualified for hairspray. If I had to total the amount of money these would have cost me it would be about £30. Surveys are about every week and they only seem to send ones that you qualify for.

Hope that helps someone, and if you've got any questions just ask!

    Hi everyone - i`ve escaped.....:T:T

Im ok, thank you for all your well wishes, sorry i couldnt reply....

I was lying on the bed tapping away on my netbook, and ignoring the doctors and got told off for not taking it serious...as you can understand i once spent 5.5 months in hospital after i broke my back and so I tend to let them get on with it. :o

Well what a palaver - had that many blood tests i`m a pin cushion, had heart scan , ecg, neck scan, have to go back next week for brain scan (best of luck there) bloods and other things, they reckon my blood pressure was too high, so would theirs be if they took my internet off me:rotfl::rotfl:

But i`m back.... i`ll catch up soon , way behind on my surveys, and i cant drive for 28 days at least.....arrrrggggg:mad:

Yes, god to see you back Susan, hope the scan goes ok xx

I have had a bit of a lazy day today. Daughter has been staying at her friends and OH is at work all weekend. Got up in the night for the toilet and switched kitchen light on and there was a big flash and a bang and all the downstairs lights went off. It had blown a fuse. OH was getting up for work in just over an hour (was about 4am) so I stayed awake reading my book so I could warn him otherwise when he went down he would wonder what was happening and wasnt no good me leaving him a note as he wouldnt have seen it. I couldnt get back to sleep so got up when he had gone to work, went down to take the fuse out so I could get another one and couldnt pull the thing out of the box where my arms are bad. It was pitch dark too even with a lamp on but managed to have a wash and do some breakfast. Luckily my brother came round later in the morning and changed the fuse for me but we need to get a new light for the kitchen on Monday so will be having to put up with a lamp until its done.

I am so tired but dont think I can get to sleep, spent most of the day on the settee (after cooking dinner) with the tv on and WB on the laptop while doing my emroridery for exmil's pillowcase, Not much to do now but had to put it down and have a break so thought I would come and see what was going on on here. Had a few wins on wb today, stars still not going up that fast, seem to be winning more points than stars. I am on 69b 49s 26g.

Just checked My Survey and about 15 points off a £5 redeem. Nothing else is near redeeming yet. Over 3/4 way on Doou but cant be bothered to do a review today. Might try to get one done tomorrow if I can find anything interesting to do. Will probs be on my own all day again a doubt if daughter will be in.

You have a rest and take it easy Rufus. I think an early night is called for.

SUSAN - so how are you? I'm glad you're out at last. I can't bear hospital - it's not that I dislike them - I hate feeling that I can't go where I want, and when I want. I hope everythings ok when your test results come back. We've been worried about you hun.

Twinkle - cheesecake looks scrumptious. I'm starving at the moment and can chew my own arm off a slice of your pizza will just do the trick ;)
Thanks for the info on global op - I'm on that and I've never had a survey, yet alone a trial.

Stressed - I did an opinion on T, and the results are quite interesting - in fact, I only posted it yesterday and I've already got 500, for 21 replies, and 1,000 points for 41 replies, so you can see, there were lots of answers.

Some people say that they've announced on the blog, that they are going back to the old way of crediting for anything over 5,000 points - ie: wait 2 - 6 weeks. They are also limiting the amounts of surveys that anyone can do per day, to four.

I think, as the the points were being added quickly, and was almost unlimited surveys, people are cashing out too quickly - look at me, it took nine days between my last two - so they are stopping it.

While they are hanging on to our payments for that little bit of extra time, they are earning extra interest in the bank too, so it benefits them and not us.

I would keep on doing them, if you want to that is, as the will eventually be credited.

Cake baking is obviously not my forte but I've obviously got Italian running through my veins!

HM base, with ham and garlic mushrooms (on one side as littlun doesn't like 'shrooms) and lovely stringy mozzarella and strong cheddar. Could have probably done it with less cheese, but it is a Saturday night :)

  • Hope everyone is ok, sounds like a lot of you are having a rough time this month. Hopefully it will pick up and next month everyone will be feeling better or sorted problems out.

The OH is annoying me today wish he would appreciate the hard work I put into the house and the two boys.

Not doing too bad on the money making front. Got another 5 items finishing on eBay tomorrow. Four of them have bids on them. If anyone is on loonie tonight please could you do my latest opinion I am one of the first target amount.

Going to try for a relaxing night tonight, feeling a bit fed up. :(
