  • Ahhhhh  , I'm having such a bad day.

I thought I was doing well with surveys and my money saving bottle is starting to fill up and I even have some bids on my ebay items I put on, on Sunday.

Then the car breaks! We used to have a real old car that we were forever paying out on so two years ago we got a newish car hoping to do better. Up untill now it has done well. The bill for today has come in at £270!

I feel all my hard work is going down the pan

So fed up, sorry to moan.

Congrats to all on your makes, finds and redeems. Finding it so hard to keep up with you all, keep reading posts to keep on top of things but then forget what everyone said so very sorry to not post direct.

Had £3.35 for sold cd's today, did a grocery shop and saved over £6 on just £18 (very happy with that) so that's another £5 for my pot this week.

Have redeemed my first bp voucher today, and halfway to another. Anyway off now to play bingo, SEE YOU ALL THERE!!!

I have registered with green metropolis to sell some books. Listed this morning and had sold two by lunchtime. Not much money but I now have space for more books:D much to DH disgust.

The windscreen saga continues. The appointment was for this morning but he didnt turn up till this afternoon and with the wrong windscreen :mad: . My beloved MX5 has suddenly become a pick up according to the companys data base which they say is DVLA. Funny when I checked this afternoon its my car. Fourth appointment made for Friday Morning so next instalment friday.
I hope all poorly people are soon feeling better and all e bayers kake lots of money.

Oh no, these windscreens are a nightmare  They came out to do my chip on Monday, when he arrived it had actually cracked (strangely wasn't cracked when I went into the office but was when I went out to find him poking it ) I have to wait 2 weeks for them to come back with a new screen now, wish I had paid for it myself and used a different company, I think its disgusting service.

I might have a look at green metropolis as ebay don't seem to be selling many books.
Aiming to completely pay off the credit card in 2012!

Dont let it get you down, these things happen. my car currently sounds like a car with a HUGE exhaust............. :rotfl: its going to see Mr Mechanic tomorrow and I reckon a new exhaust will be required.

  • Thanks Esmer. Got the MOT coming up in three weeks time as well. It sailed through last year guess my luck with the car has ran out!

And to top it all off my OH has been signed off work with a problem with is achilles heal. He needs to rest his leg but as a postman this isn't possible at work. He is one grumpy guy and is bored on day one. I can see him getting under my feet! lol

I am not sure anyone is selling that much. My books were Open University academic ones and the new course starts in Feb so good timing I suspect. I am not sure the novels will do much.

It sounds as though you windscreen people are as useless as mine. I wonder if its the same company.
  • trying to sign up for surveys, cashback sites etc there are sooo many! did manage to set myself up with a separate email address so they all come through to the same place.

    will do more tomorrow hopefully

sold a box of action men on the work noticeboard for £25 to put in the pot for Christmas, just need to sort out an account to put all this money in:p
