Good morning everyone.
I had a lovely long lie in this morning. I usually get up at 6am on a work day but no work and a tired son meant I didn't wake until 8:30. I then lazed about in bed until DS woke at about 9, I had to get up then as he thinks it's funny to shout 'Cockadoodledoo!' at the top of his voice!
Plans for the day - quick visit into town to pick up a last minute present. It's for my husband's dad and is the ONLY present that DH had the responsibility to think of. So of course, it's the only one we're rushing around still trying to sort out! I don't mind too much though as I want to pick up a few more stocking fillers for DH as it doesn't feel like he's got enough. Also need a quick pop into Tesco to get bread, milk etc.
I've got a midwife appointment this afternoon and then we're delivering a few prezzies. I might do a bit of fudge making at some point today as I didn't do it at the weekend. I did make the whisky marmalade yesterday, it was SO easy!! Elysia, I used the tin of Seville oranges that you recommended, I'll definitely be doing that again. It was so easy to do and seems to have turned out really well. It also made absolutely loads, I think I got 7 jars full!
Well, off to rate on Chow for a bit
ETA - sorry to hear about the car Emma, I hope it doesn't cost too much for the garage to fix.Making money for Christmas 2012!0 -
Just saw this dy promo - don't think it would be that good for me as it has to be a first review and most stuff has reviews on I own. I can't be bothered trawling through to find the one item that isn't.
With only five sleeps to go till Christmas, dooyoo is sharing the Christmas love by giving you the chance to earn some extra dooyooMiles! This week we are focusing on all products from Level 1 Music, Level 1 Computer and Level 1 Kids and Family – plenty to choose from!
We’ll top you up to a healthy total of 1,000dMs for just the one review, and to be eligible for that bonus, all you need to do is write a first review in any of those categories mentioned above, and send us a dooyooMail to let us know you’ve taken part.
Normal Site Rules apply of course, so if you haven’t read them in a while, take a quick look to be sure you’re up to speed. We look forward to seeing what you come up with!

Thanks for finding that Michelle - Family and Kids could be anything! I wish they'd be more specific. I'have had enough of books today - I'm going to review our toaster and kettle today - I've not done them yet and they'll be big points on DooU too.
Nicky - well done on the lie in. I woke at 8, and lay in bed reading a book. It's quite good actually, I didn't want to put it down, but DD got up at 8.30, and she and the dog invaded my peace and quiet. You mind you don't do too much, or go too far from home. My cousins wife had her baby in the car on the motorway.I :heartpuls M.S.E.Mortgage Free 18/01/10 13 years and 8 months early on a 20 year mortgage!

I typed a long reply last night on my tablet, then accidently pressed a button and lost it all. Didn't have the energy to redo it all!

HI all, the car has been pieced up rather than a new part - still cost £80 but better than I expected - still have to find the money though.
Managed to do the housework I wanted to do upstairs but still have kitchen floor to do it is just soooo cold in there I really don't want to - it's because it is an extension and has no radiator.
I have posted 3 reviews so far today and I have another 2 ready so will probably get 5 on today - don't want people to just think i'm churning but i need to pay for the car and no doubt I won't do much between xmas and new year so this will be my last couple of days at it.To get to Disneyland Florida 20160 -
Emma - Just go for it. Some people have done as many as ten or more. We all know you own the item, but most of those definitely don't it bugs me - that's why I add photo's all the while. Sorry - It's some kind of OCD thing.
Chel - I wondered where you were. I'm glad you're ok - even if the lappie isn't. Computers eh? More trouble than they're worth, but I woudn't be without mine.
Was just starting to write another review but DD2 has grabbed me, and wants to play just dance on the wii. I'd best go or there will be riots. See you later.xI :heartpuls M.S.E.Mortgage Free 18/01/10 13 years and 8 months early on a 20 year mortgage!

I'd just go for it Emma. I put 6 on yesterday, and 5 quite a few days. If people don't want to rate it they will just skip it. I've been getting between 15-30 rates per review. As long as you space it out it will be ok.
There is also something going on with dy where you post a piccie of your xmas tree on facebook and there might be a prize. Might be worth a go.
I'm losing all will today. The kids are being complete pains again. I am fed up of saying no only for them to both do the same exact thing again. Grrrrrrr.
On the bright side, my car passed its MOT no problems. One thing of the list.0 -
Well I am back! Connor is not too good but was adamant he was going to school this afternoon as today was the Christmas parties! So I sent him in as his temp and come down and he was coughing less! Well 10 minutes before school ended his teacher came and got me and said he keeps coughing and shes worried he will be sick! So since then he hasnt stopped coughing and I feel terrible for a) sending him and b) wanting to tell him to shhh as hes doing my head in coughing! Terrible monther I am¬! lol
Went into town when he was in school and it was heaving! Glad I am done and only need bits as I really wouldnt want to be trapsing looking around now!
Emma sorry to hear about the car but at least it wasnt as bad as it could have been! I have my car tax on the 31st eek! £118 for 6 months!!!
Nicky how is bump? You made me laugh with the cockadoodle comment! lol
Well doen all of you on your reviews your all doing so well I am just a tiny bit jealous but know I have neither time ir patience to be doing them! I do know that I need to bake those cupcakes and mince pies that I have been meaning to bake for the last fortnight soon and the christmas shop and present drop and tidy the house and re decorate the tree as the lights have broke and I have to put a new set on!
