Currys NON-delivery

I hope your new fridge arrives safely.
Remember not to plug it in immediately, but to locate it and allow it to settle a little first - at least until you read the manual to see if your model needs to settle! Last thing we'd want is for it to go pop, which is probably less of an issue these days, but do make sure you check the printed instructions first!0 -
skiddlydiddly,
Could I suggest that you read the posts again (and properly this time).
What BillTrac is upset about isn't the lack of delivery, but the lack of information being given by Currys and their delivery drivers. Here we are at 2125 and the !!!!ers still haven't turned up. No email, no phone calls etc. Bearing in mind that apparently we are in the 21st century, and that Currys are an online company who sell !!!!!!!g mobile phones!!God, it's so frustrating. If they don't want to deliver the goddam item then please let me know. At least then I would/could get on with my life.0 -
The problem here is that he shopped at Curry’s which is part of the ‘Dixon’s/Curry’s/PC World’ consortium that is well known for lack of customer care.
Staff are more interested in selling unnecessary product insurance policies than caring about customers once they have your order in the bag.

Any update? Am dying to know whether you have your fridge freezer yet, or if you left the delivery guys out in the cold? (Sorry, couldn't resist!)0

Does it not come on a van like everything else then, or is it on the back of a sleigh?
Yes the OP is having some problems but just read through the posts on here and it seems 50% are complaining of similar problems.0 -

Guess what? Yep, still no FF, even though I was told yesterday at 3pm it was on the truck coming from Southampton 30 miles away, no snow. No FF either.
Just been onto their website to check status etc as I am on hold to their customer dis-service centre.
"Your product will be delivered on............Tuesday 28th December".
I won't be here!!!!
And they've reduced the price....:rotfl:0 -

Yes I know, but I was told it was on it's way on Wednesday AND Thursday.
It's total lack of customer care that I find the biggest insult. Oh that and the lies probably0 -

Read my posts and you will see they told me it was on it's way. I can understand deliveries being difficult in certain parts of the UK, but down here it's been clear all week weather wise. Just cold.
But as I have said it's their ignorance/lies/etc that's teh most galling.0 -
Well I finally told them to cancel the order.
And two minutes ago I get a text from them thanking for choosing Currys...:rotfl:0
