Why oh why am I surprised?

Ordered an American style F/F from Currys online last week. Delivery arranged for Wednesday 22/12/10

Logged in on line last night to be told delivery between 1400 - 1800 today (Weds 22nd) Luckily working from home so no big deal (imagine if I had taken holiday??)

Called customer services at 2000 tonight just to make sure they were coming. "Delivery hasn't been rebooked and we can deliver up to 1900". OK, haven't got a real problem, although plenty I could have got in with.

Here we are at 2125 and the !!!!ers still haven't turned up. No email, no phone calls etc. Bearing in mind that apparently we are in the 21st century, and that Currys are an online company who sell !!!!!!!g mobile phones!! If the delivery guys (who will bear the brunt of any irate customer, not just me) can't get to the delivery on time, or even at all, what is do bloody difficult about letting someone know? I am sure if Mr/Mrs/Ms Currys' employee was at home waitinng for a delivery that didn't show they would be straight on here/phone/bloody facebook complaining.

We are supposedly in a recession. If companies !!!! off the customers how are they going to get through the dips?

And even if Currys deliver my bloody F/F tomorrow, I will never shop with them again.Or any other DSG company
either!!

But hey Currys. Just ignore a paying customer why don't you? Especially one who won't be back...

What the !!!! is up with Currys? I ordered on their website, selected a delivery time they offered, and they still can't deliver!!!

Totally useless bar stewards. What a s**t company.

    Spot on,

and the blooming thing STILL hasn't turned up...

It wouldn't be quite so bad, but called at 2000 last night to be told it hadn't been rebooked and they could deliver up until 2100.

Call them this morning at 0800 because the bloody thing STILL isn't here, to be told they couldn't understand why it hadn't been delivered yesterday. Only has to come from Southampton which is 30 miles away, and the weather round here is cold but hardly difficult to deal with. Call again at 1500 to be told there isn't a problem and it will be delivered.

SO WHY THE !!!! AM I STILL WAITING????????????

    Thanks BG feel refreshed now..:rotfl:

Just spent ages on the phone to Currys so-called customer service centre. I want to cancel the bloody thing now. If they had said that they couldn't deliver before Christmas then I would still have ordered and not expected it till then. But no, they promised me delivery YESTERDAY between 1400 and 1800. Here I am over 24 hours later still waiting. The so-called CSC haven't got a clue where the product I paid for last week is, can't contact either the warehouse or driver to find out if it is actually being delivered today. I would go somewhere else now.

Bunch of liars. If the bloody thing turns up tonight I think I will refuse to sign for it. Imagine if they had turned up (not likely though) and I hadn't been in?

Anyone have contact details to complain? Not looking for compensation, just so angry that they keep lying to me.

Asked about cancelling, of course there isn't anyone around to sort that out. What a surprise!

I know that jobs are hard to find at the moment but do the people at call centres really think we are all stupid? Do they really think we believe the b**s**t they spout?

Honestly, I will never, ever visit or buy from any company/shop affiliated to DSG.

Funny how there isn't a link to give feedback to Currys....

    Sorry folks, another boring update.

The bar stewards still haven't delivered, so I guess it's yet another wasted call to their so called customer services line in the morning.

What is so !!!!!!! difficult about delivering a product which is in stock, apparently on the !!!!!!!g truck and is only 30 minutes away? What a useless bunch of !!!!!.

God, it's so frustrating. If they don't want to deliver the goddam item then please let me know. At least then I would/could get on with my life.

I wish I had never bothered ordering the bloody thing, and I have wasted two days waiting for the crap company to deliver what I ordered and paid for.

I hope to hell Currys never get into the business of trying to deliver something really dangerous or important.

What a !!!! company. Their call centre staff will lie to you just to get you off their line, after charging you for your wasted time.

And sorry folks, I plan on bumping this thread to keep others aware of what a crap company Currys is.

Sorry, did I say what a !!!! company Currys are/is?
  • It's your own fault for buying an American style model. What's wrong with a British one?

    Dunno, but I'm not :/
    Squirrel!
If I tell you who I work for, I'm not allowed to help you. If I don't say, then I can help you with questions and fixing products. Regardless, there's still no secret EU law.
    Now 20% cooler
  • How dare Currys have problems delivering his F/F when no other company in the country is suffering similar problems. Its a conspiracy!!!
