Nice landlords really do exist.

Options
As a reader of this section, I am sometimes shocked by some of the antics of tenants and landlords alike.

However, I went to put some rubbish in the wheelie bin today and noticed a plastic carrier bag at the side. When I looked inside, there was a Christmas card and a bottle of Cava from my landlord. :j

So, Happy Christmas to all good landlords and good tenants :T:T

Yup! I do similar. Provided the tenants have been good little children all year of course. ;)

Our Christmas gift from our landlord is a property inspection on Christmas Eve - apparently it 'has' to be done then. Some landlords aren't so good ...

A couple of years ago we had an inspection on valentines evening!
I guess some agents don't have any better plans!

Thank goodness we left that game behind!

Ours from the place we're mid-leaving tried to persuade us to let them do a viewing for the guys taking over the rental on Xmas Eve. Now I've happily cooperated with the fact they've lost their copy of the keys and are generally a bit inept, let them in when they've wanted to be in - but I told them politely to piddle off if they thought I was going to spend that particular day on viewing standby!

You're sure that these weren't intended as a Christmas gift for the binmen? :D

I had a nice Christmas card from my Housing Association Finance Office.. with a long paragraph in it reminding me not to get into debt with the rent and be sure to pay it on time over the holiday. Tasteless waste of money.. I threw it straight in the bin.
