    I've reserved a Red Dolce Gusto £45

sold it to me - as she says, Dolce = best for Milky drinks, Tassimo = more variety of coffee.

Senseo looks like just a coffee machine - look at:-

DH bought one a couple of weeks ago as a treat for us. Considering how much coffee I drink I find it expensive, so have to reserve it for a treat. Therefore we're still keep our old filter coffee machine, which is a p.i.t.a. keeping both. I have to warm the mug and the milk in the micro as the coffee is not boiling hot otherwise. Not that impressed to be honest.

SIL has a nespresso machine, which I wanted but its £150. You can only buy the pods online which is another p.i.t.a. but apparently superior coffee.

yes the senseo only seems to do straight coffee so thats out

just between the tassimo and dolce gusto now
  • I have a Dolce Gusto, but can't say how it compares to others as I haven't tried them.

Here are the flavours you can get.

I tend to agree about the temperature, but tend to find if I switch the machine on & leave it for about 4-5 minutes it gives the element longer to warm up & the drinks seem hotter.

I bought my husband one as a gift for xmas 4 years ago and it is still going! We love the coffee and I also love the hot chocolate. The ice cappucino in summer is wonderful - I haven't tried the peach ice tea yet. Their website sells all of the flavours, while the shops tend to only sell a few which is a slight pain as I of course like all the ones you can only get online.
