Having had both machines id personally save the money.... the novelty wears off after a while, and I actually prefer a nice cup of gold blend to these machines! The problem is they don't heat the water hot enough, for me, a good cup of coffee its gotta be boiling!0

I adore Dolce Gusto, that is all I drink now x0

I love my Tassimo (had it 4 years now). But just bought Mum a Senseo for Christmas as they're down to £29 (Comet & Argos)Smile and be happy, things can usually get worse!0

we bought a dolce gusto for ourselves and one for our parents a few years back. lovely drinks (a bit sweet for some) and the novelty does wear off after a while. nice when you have friends over though! i would say that the pods themselves are hardly ever on offer and you have to be pretty savy to catch any deals.0

I did a lot of reading on this recently. Apparently the dolce gusto makes better milk based drinks but the tassimo has more variety in coffee. So if you like nescafe and want milky drinks i'd go for the dolce gusto but if you want some variety then the tassimo is the way to go0

i bought this from argos yesterday and then went and bought the pods from morrisons for £3.28 for 8 and its the best thing i've done this christmas! i have only tried the skinny latte so far and it is delicious, very milky but i like it like that (i think you can adjust the ratio of milk to coffee if you want it stronger). i also bought some coffee glasses to make the latte in as then you get to see the striped effect!!!0

Hubby works for nestle and they gave this to the whole team as a xmas prezzie instead of the usual hampers (which are really good too). We're not big coffe drinkers, but this is getting us addicted.
We got it for free, but i defo recomend everyone getting it! it takes 30 secs to make a coffee, latte, chocolate etc!0 -
I wanted a red one but they were so much more expensive than the white. Took delivery of a white one today but am tempted to send it back and get the red - especially as it is £5 cheaper.0

What glasses to people use - best deals of handled??
I have normal squash glasses and Moroccan mint tea glasses0 -
the glasses i have are irish coffee glasses and were £3 for 2 in morrisons
when you register your new gusto on the dolce gusto website you get 200 points and then 11 points for each box of 8 pods you buy (you enter a code off the box). you can then swap the points for either more pods or accessories. the set of 2 cappucino cups are half price at the moment so i was able to swap my points straight away for these and just had to pay £3.50 postage which i don't think is too bad to receive 2 nice cappucino cups0
