I agree, but on the odd occasion that it does, then sods law says it will be an important requirement...:rotfl:
I think I'll give Firefox a go this weekend.

Everybody seems to be pushing Firefox. Haven't got a problem with that.
What happens when a link wants to open in IE though?
Excuse my ignorance, but earlier on I wanted to download some audio files from a site for my grandsons Leapfrog Tag pen. Even though I went through Google Chrome it kept giving me an error because it kept trying to open an IE window, but wouldn't because IE wouldn't open correctly(fixed now though).
If I used Firefox would the file I was looking for open in Firefox ok, or would I still have had a problem because of IE?
The pushing thing can become annoying when they don't answer the question first. I like Firefox, I use it all the time now. But I'd answer your IE related question first, then push Firefox. It annoys me when people just answer the question with "Use Firefox".
Anyway, to answer your question. When you start Firefox it may ask you if you want to make it your default browser. You can say yes. Most things will now use Firefox when there is a link to something.
IE isn't so bad now. It use to be really bad back in IE6 but has got better. But as it's more popular, is the default browser that comes with Windows and non computer people will just use it, it's targeted more.
Firefox is great but not totally secure, but nowhere near as bad as IE.
All links should work fine in Firefox.0 -
