I just moved into a flat with economy 7 heating. I need to get some more heat in there! (Im in all day and night - I work from home). Is it worth getting LPG. Or failing that, what heaters are the cheapest to run? I know that Oil Filled Radiator arent cheap, but what about the little electric fan heaters?
Ild appreciate any advice on the cheapest source of heating!

Electric radiators or convector heaters all cost the same to run, which will be quite expensive on peak rate electricity. LPG will cost even more per kW and if you mean the portable heaters have massive condensation problems.
To store more off-peak heat you need bigger/more storage heaters; to store off-peak heat that lasts until the evening you need a fan asissted storage heater.A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.0
