Cancelling EasyJet Car Hire

I have just had a fun few hours trying to cancel car hire on EasyJet's website. They make it near impossible to cancel a rental car booked as part of an EasyJet flight booking - by referring you to pages and buttons that don't exist and hiding the necessary pages. But by referring to postings on other web-forums and a bit of trial and error I found it is possible!
I wanted to post something here to make sure other people don't get caught in their trap.
So here are the main steps
1 - Ignore all the guidance on how to cancel car hire on their website - it is all either misleading or just plain wrong!
2 - Log on to My EasyJet
3 - Click on either the "my bookings" or "your bookings" buttons at the top of the page
4 - Select the flight booking that the car hire was part of
5 - To the right of the flight details are a list of options in small blue text - click on "Add speedy boarding" (or one of the other "Add..." options)
6 - The next page should now show all components of your booking and by the car hire details give you an option to cancel it
7 - Once you've clicked on cancel you then have to confirm that you want to cancel - ignore the message about clicking on the "price changes" button (there is no such button!!!!!) and instead scroll back up the page and look for an orange "confirm" button.
8 - Job done
This was what I needed to do today - but who knows they might try to throw people off the trail by adding more references to imaginary buttons and pages in future! In the end I've managed to get a full refund - so it is definitely worth persevering. Good luck.
