    Also around the midlands they had over 50 cars nicked in a week were people had done this and your insurance does not cover you.
    He hadn't planned on leaving it unattended, he got back out to go get something out of the boot, and on trying the boot, the doors all locked!!!

    So what happened to the spare keys or are there none as you could just used that to open the door instead of stanley knife.

    Didn't have one, the car was bought from a mate as a run around for a couple of months. Do you really think I would have forgotten how to use the key? :rotfl: fair do's though, you are the first to suggest it! :D

    I know you mention that you don't have a spare set of keys but just thought I would mention that I have heard that if you did this when out and about and OH had keys at home they can hold the keys up next the the phone and click to open the car while you are standing next to it.

    Like I said I can't confirm if this is true or not so I will be happy to be corrected.

    Or just send a text to the registration number with the word OPEN.
    Didn't find that on the web, heard it in the pub, so it must be true.:D
