keys locked in car with engine running.

You might also want to point out to him that its an offence to leave a motor vehicle running without a driver present. I think is called something as simple as 'leaving a motor vehicle unattended'.

You think every random passing kid is eqipped to break into a car?
You need a spare key cut, even just a cheap blade without the electronics so at least you can open the door from now on.
It was worth a try, you never know, they were shellsuit, baseball cap at a particular angle type of boys!

Didn't have one, the car was bought from a mate as a run around for a couple of months. I know you mention that you don't have a spare set of keys but just thought I would mention that I have heard that if you did this when out and about and OH had keys at home they can hold the keys up next the the phone and click to open the car while you are standing next to it.
Like I said I can't confirm if this is true or not so I will be happy to be corrected.0 -
