would you expect to go and pay the extra if it goes up in price op
Replies to posts are always welcome, If I have made a mistake in the post, I am human, tell me nicely and it will be corrected. If your reply cannot be nice, has an underlying issue, or you believe that you are God, please post in another forum. Thank you

Thanks to the first poster, that was the constructive reply I was after. Thought this forum was to help people not to be short and shirty with people.
The question should have been put that OP wants the difference regardless?

Seems that absolution is given in post 2, but alas OP needs more than this. I suggest that in future, one should wait until the sales to see if the bargain comes a reality. But then again the sale is made on the day regardless of the price

I can't see anything wrong with the posts, the advice is pretty sound. Legally they don't have to unless they specifically have some sort of money back guarantee in their terms, or the sale was online.

Why do you feel you are entitled to the difference anyway?

Will you pick up the OP's costs if they don't get a refund?

Damaging goods in order to obtain a refund is fraud.

See how easy that was to discover it was stupid advice.

also the company the item was bought from may just replace the item (rather than refund/resell) so youre in the exact same position anyway!
