Hi I have just bought the Blackberry 8520 for my daughter, we're having some problems setting it up and can't figure it all out, so came here looking for some advice.
I bought it from Tmobile, paid £149 and the required £10 top up which gives unlimited texts, 6 months of internet free, and BBm/blackberry services and apps
my daughter set the phone up/well tried and we cant seem to figure out how to get the free internet and other free stuff, when she went on the internet it charged her £1 even though the staff at the t-mobile store said that she had the 6 month free internet booster can someone explain what we need to do to recieve the free internet.
Also my daughter tried to get onto yahoo answers and the phone asked me to put my credit card number in to take off the parental contols, is this safe?

I imagine you'll need to call them to make sure the Blackberry package has been activated. Also, have you registered the blackberry account? Follow this link, or do it on the phone.
