  • You are not going to get this item and the guy thinks he's funny.

    Have you paid?

Definitely refuse the cancellation. Pathetic excuses from them!

In a few days, open an "item not received" dispute (I'm assuming they won't send it!!), then when you get your money back, leave negative feedback!

No doubt they wanted more for it! Did it have a start price?

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)

In which case, you might want to pay with Paypal, because otherwise they'll no doubt try and open a dispute for a non paying buyer...

I would refuse the cancellation & neg, "couldn't sell to me, hope your sick dog & relatives are now recovered." Then if they pull a similar stunt buyers will know.

:DI won very well priced item last night for £100 ,which was quite pleasing as I am out in the sticks at the mo looking after some poorly family members and ,with sickness bugs, fluey stuff and feeling pretty naff and knackered.

    This was their email
hi there sorry to have to inform you that the x you had been sold had been sold to someone in my family and my daughter was supposed to have remove the listing but forgot to do so shes been at hospital alot this wk due to her MS and her dogs had to have his eye removed today i have been at the hospital 10 hours a day to see my dad hes not good hes got pnemonia and had a possible stroke and hes 95 so sorry about this .

I have not had this before,.now have a message from ebay saying she has cancelled the transaction.
What would people here do next,if anything??

Wow..... is there in anyone in this guy's local hospital that isn't related to him?

Given the relationship between Ebay purchase and serious illness, perhaps the Government should look at making Ebay illegal as a way to solve the NHS budget crisis!
