  • I've never seen so many excuses in one ebay transaction! You can file a non performing seller report if you want to make sure they at least get a warning.

Have you actually had a note from ebay asking to cancel the transaction or has the seller just said that?

Hahahahahahahaha what a ridiculous E-mail!! I have had several very similar, always involve dying relatives in hospital or delinquent children not doing what they're supposed to, but the one-eyed dog is a new one!!!

These people are a waste of space. Clearly they don't want to send you the item for the bargain price you paid so are hoping you'll let them off the hook nicely. I don't play nice with them anymore. Up to you what you do but it'll happen again and again and again.

I hope you find a bargain from an honest person instead - there are plenty out there.

Yes, ebay also sent me one with a copy of some similar comments! Not sure how to respond.Apparently they sold this to a relative unbeknown to the lister (she only found out afte the sale end, naturally).Ebay state there was no reason given for cancellation.

Wow is that 5 excuses in one?

Don't think you have to accept the cancellation - not sure - but if you do he gets his FVF fees back.

Am hoping you can leave feedback - a nice NEG!

Yup, sounds like some silly excuses.

Agree with everyone else. You don't have to accept the cancellation and I wouldn't.

The only thing they needed to say was "have sold it to someone else". All the rest of that rubbish may be true, but it has nothing to do with the sale.

  • You can refuse to accept the mutual cancellation, that way they don't get their fees back, if you havent responded already

I think they've used up their excuses for the year in one!
  • Ok,thanks i have done nothing yet,I am fairly new to this ebay mularky.I think i will refuse to accept the cancellation

  • refuse the cancellation - then they still get charged the fees. then leave a negative. thats what i would do!

technically, you are entitled to it as the ebay transaction is legally binding - people have been to court over ebay items nowadays!

probably not worth the aggro tho, best to just call it "one of those things" and look for another.

shame though when it doesnt work out :( don't let it put you off! 99% of ebaying is great!!
