My last batch of presents was held up (Amazon... thought they despatched form the channel islands... but it was stuck in Scotland!)
The delivery was due on 20th December but was held up in Scotland for at least 5 days.
I choose to believe that the RM have been pulling the stops out and I know this year is a nightmare scenario.
Anyway mine popped through the door on Christmas eve :jMy TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0 -
Terrible service!
My brother ls currently working near John o groats and recently rang me up enquiring about his fishes,so i told him that flopsie was looking sad hiding behind a rock all the time.....anyways to cut a long story short he basically asked for them to be sent up to his house as they were missing him.
So on 1st December I posted his fishes off(I used some newspaper and some sticky backed plastic taped over the top of the fish bowl to keep the water in),I attached a 2nd class stamp and it didn't arrive until christmas eve,not only that, but when my brother had opened the parcel half the water was gone and flopsie partner was floating on top and was obviously brown bread,so he had to eat it as he is a good `old styler` and hates waste.
You'd have thought in this day and age that Royal Mail would take better care of it's parcels:mad:"Life is short even in its longest days".0 -
I worked for RM as an Xmas temp. Can I just point out that there were around 1.45 million pieces of post delivered to the office I worked at, on Tuesday? So don't blame the workers!Sealed pot challenge #232. Gold stars from Sue-UU - :staradmin :staradmin £75.29 banked
