Also very low on Friday as I was out for a friends bday on Thursday and her friend and I had a bit of a row. And yep it was around the usual nonsense of why dont you want a man/baby/fiat uno and set of matching pans.
Your friend has a Fiat Uno !:eek::eek::eek:
Is she having an affair with a car mechanic or is she collecting car bills instead of stamps?
My friends sister (married to a guy who'd gone bankrupt twice because he didn't like working for someone else and always thought his business idea was better - the irony being he is actually quite a good salesman if he'd just accepted that scenario!) always likes to say to me "are you still desparately looking for a man". I don't know why, maybe I'm nicer than I think I am, I always bite my tongue and manage not to say "Could be worse Michelle, I could be married to a w**ker like your husband".

Just realised the end of your quote about the Fiat Uno.
My XOH bought me a set of matching pans for Christmas [STRIKE]one year[/STRIKE] the last year we were together.
Not that the pans were *entirely* the reason we split up, but they were a major contributing factor; in fact if we'd been married, they may have been named in the divorce petition.:rotfl:Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0

Just so long as they weren't read out as part of the manslaughter charges in Cluedo;

Lol! I went to a wedding this summer and was asked if I was single, I answered 'Yes'. Then I was asked how I felt coming to an event like that on my own. I must have looked quite confused because I felt absolutely fine...until that point... If she wasn't a friend of a very good friend of mine I'd have said 'Absolutely fine. I'm single, I haven't got two heads...' Grrr... I bit my tongue and consoled myself with the fact that I'd rather be single than with a t0ssser like her husband - he kept disappearing throughout the meal and when he was there he was nowhere near as funny as he thought he was...
Another couple of friends of mine have recently sprogged and are busily trying to convince another friend she wants to have a baby...as in 'Oh, maybe you'll get broody when your sister has her baby...' I'm so close to saying 'If she doesn't want a baby, she doesn't want a baby, leave her alone!' I don't want to know what they think of me...not only am I child-less, I'm also *gasp* single!
What is wrong with people?? Do we all have to be the same?

Well, if that was my Monday night...then can you imagine what the rest of the week will be like. Went back to a hotel with a lovely man after MANY drinks with LB. I'm sure it's lovely to be in a couple, but I wont be swapping thanks!!!!'The road to a friends house is never long'0
