  • He might enjoy this doodling program - Bomomo. I know I do! And the classic Sober Santa 2 is seasonal and fun.

Strewth, I think I'll wait till he's with me and can explain before playing either of those - I can't work out what you have to do - can't find any instructions. Can you help SS?

Take a look at kingdomofloathing.com - it is an online game which is simple to play, amusing and can be addictive. It is text based though, so if his reading skills aren't too good it may not be suitable - take a look first and see what you think!
    Trust me - I'm NOT a doctor!

    They are both easy (honest;))

OK, sober santa first. help santa get the glasses of bubbly without falling off the roof as he gets steadily more p****d. Use the cursor keys to move him around. Mince pies sober him up slightly.

And there's another sober santa game - don't let the train run him over

Bomomo - just hold the mouse button down and move it around. Experiment with the different choices below the drawing screen. Try different speeds of moving mouse around to get different effects. You can save pictures and print them off.

Would he be interested in something like Sims 3? You can either spend your time building houses, or making friends, developing skills/careers, or a bit of everything.

This site is fantastic and has thousands of excellent games.
I especially love these ones, as the graphics are really beautiful:

Thank you so much everyone, I've been having the best fun trying these out! Thanks also for the instructions, I was trying to mouse the Santa around and couldn't suss it!

No he can't read but as I intend that we should do these together, in a way that doesn't matter. As long as we both keep off the mulled wine we're going to have fun.

Million thanks again, you've really helped.
  • Another vote for kingdomofloathing.com, though it might be a bit heavy on the text. It's very amusing though...

And because it's stick figure battles, it should be ok on a dongle - I use my dongle when travelling for work.
