How do you turn off voice commands on Nokia N8?

Its driving me nuts. Every time I plug my phone into my speakers to listen to music, this stupid voice commands tutorial thing commands comes up. I cannot get rid of it.

I am thinking of backing up data, and reverting back to factory settings, but is there an easier way?

Had a quick look on mine, but I don't use music on my phone, so probably can't be much help - maybe an email to Nokia Customer Service?

edit: prob wont help as you say your using an aux lead not an headset

Update

Never got around to a hard reset, although tried a soft one; The latest phone firmware, updated through Ovi store, has sorted my original problem out. Must have been a recent fix, as wasn't available at the time of my original post.

Now happy with my N8. :j

My N8 doing exactly the same - really frustrating when at the gym! How did you get the update please - can't see it via Ovi on my phone (only apps, games etc.) Thanks!

Take it back to the shop and say you want to exchange it for a phone that isn't a pile of crap.

you need to use (now called) Nokia Suite on your computer plug your phone in and select update sign into your nokia/ovi account and let it do it's thing, if you've never updated you should the nokia n8 is on it's 'belle' update now, that's 2 full versions than when it shipped.
