Sometimes I do 5-6 miles per a day. Is it a problem? I had my car serviced in May

You don't drive a lot, and you are concerned this may affect your battery.
Your battery will probably be ok, but it is never getting a good charge only a little top up. In my opinion the idea of taking a car for a long drive just to service the battery is a nonsense. The high cost of petrol will mean that a long drive will cost you at least £5 (Also a good charge only occurs above constant 2000rpm which isn't happening inside towns and city).
Far, Far, Far better to buy a £30 battery charger (which will last you for 20 years or more) and charge it properly once in a while.

IMHO you are actually worrying about the wrong thing. If your battery dies, so what? It will still last for (worst case scenario) 2 years before dieing. You can easily buy another and they are not that expensive £40 - £55. A dead battery is not going to cause any lasting damage to your car only an inconvenience. What you should be worrying about is your engine wear. With such short miles your engine oil is never getting nice and hot, so your engine oil will have a higher water content than most other cars. To correct this problem I suggest you change your engine oil every 6 months and oil filter every 12 months. Try to find a small garage who will do this for a good price.

Nationwide tyre chain does cheap oil changes.
