Recycling a non-genuine mobile phone

From the FAQ on topdollarmobile.co.uk:
Doesn't sound like they will dial 999 or anything, but as said above if you claim it's something that you know it's not in order to profit then that's against the law.
I'd also imagine you would have a very slim chance of getting away with it as whoever checks the phones at these places obviously looks at phones all day long and would probably spot a fake straight away.
Gotcha,
Again, it's him, not me, but thanks for your help!!0 -
Why does the OP friend Email a few of the "recycle for cash" companies and ask them?
Worse they can say is "NO we would destroy/keep the phone if it was sent to us."Laters

Why not just sell it to friends or co workers and tell right away its a copy. Maybe he can get someone to buy it for cheap.0

No harm in asking the companies directly whether they recycle these or not. all of them have email addresses you can contact. However, if you're looking for a sale, I'd be honest and upfront about the phone on an ebay lisnting.THE BIGGEST_MINT0
