Anyone have experience of a Vaillant VCW 282EH boiler?

I bought a house earlier this month and the gas meter has just been fitted but the boiler isn't working. It's completely dead and won't even attempt to fire up. I'm trying to find an online manual but so far can only find sites where you have to pay £30 +VAT to become a member (I am seriously thinking about this now).
I can't get an engineer out until the end of January now
I've tried ringing BG homecare as well but they are only accepting calls from homecare members.
The builder I have in at the property seems to think we are missing something simple. Possibly a button or switch.
It's a long shot but does anyone have an idea what this could be?
Thanks

I think I may have a manual for this. Is it the old Turbomax?
PM me your email address and I'll send it to you.0 -
I think this is the combi compact boiler, hopefully gas4you has sent you the right manual. I don't have a copy, but if you are still struggling you could try Vaillant directly on 01773 596013 and request one.0

Have PM'ed you
Thank you so much for your offer of a manual. I missed the post at first and only just come back to it. I have had a vaillant engineer out and he has put the boiler at risk and switched the gas to it off - apparently water is coming down the flue and corroded the combustion chamber.
So we are waiting for a new one to be fitted (sometime after Jan 4th).
Thanks for the offer
