Hi.
Ive bitten the bullet and left Pipex for TalkTalk. Some may say out of the frying pan and into the fire.
Change over should have been 13/12 but that was put back 72hours. Since then all seems to be ok. No hickups with connections.
The Dlink 2680 router arrived three days later, not surprising with the way the weather has been. I reconfigered my Netgear DG834G and a noticable speed increase straight away from 6.5 to 12.
I changed routers and found out that our laptops downstairs would'nt pick up the signal. I changed back to the Netgear and as you might expect we are sticking with that one.
Im hoping to save on the move but I'll report back as time goes on. I'm aiming on saving about £5 per month on the plan and my family are with TT now so I believe calls to them will be free.
All in all it might turn out to be a good move but after what I've read on the forums I'm keeping the fingers crossed.
All the best to everyone for Christmas and the New Year.
Regards. Allen.

Hi.
Yes I realised that. I wonder if it might be better in the old pan or the new pan. Only time will tell.
I hope when I report back I dont get a load of "We told you so" replies.:rotfl:
