Excellent news... I've picked one up in the Coop for this year, 2 pounds. Christmas can now proceed :-)

It's that time of year again...LogHunt2018 commenced on Tuesday evening.

The old stalwart (Lidl) didn't have any and when I looked at a supermarket comparison website only Ocado were listed as doing them. I don't think Ocado reach us here in the outer darkness so I was a bit downcast.

However, I was in Sainsbury's tonight and had a look and turned up a few on an end of aisle display, BBE 24th Dec. But I had a rootle about and found one BBE 3rd Jan, yay :-)

Im just hoping Mondelez haven't changed the recipe...

LogHunt2019 was thankfully another short one, with Sainsbury's coming through with the goods! BBE 27th Dec, but it won't last much longer than Boxing Day

I see I have been reporting on Yule Log here for the last 10 years, but I started buying it and covering it in butter icing circa 1987 when I was in school. Thank goodness they're still making it!

Well Cadbury's Yule Log lovers, having survived 2020 (so far) I have managed to acquire the item in question in a masked up and mercifully short LogHunt2020. Sainsbury's came through again this year - after the year we've had,  not having the traditional Yule Log on Christmas Day would have been the last straw!

BBE 17th December,  but I'm sure I'll manage what with the pandemic and all. Hopefully LogHunt2021 will take place in more normal times

Just reviving this thread as is traditional for me now! Sainsbury's have come through again for LogHunt2021 in another masked-up LogHunt. Found one this morning BBE 20th Jan. There were some there BBE 5th December

They also had some Orange-flavoured ones as well as the normal "Triple Chocolate Yule Log" to which I am so partial at Christmas. £2.50.

I did sight some in Farm Foods earlier in the season, but they weren't there last time I looked.

Just doing my traditional reviving of the Cadbury's Triple Chocolate Yule log thread. No messing about again this year - Sainsbury's have them BBE 4th Jan which will do me for my traditional Christmas dessert with a bit of lemon sorbet on the side. Gone up to £2.75 this year! LogHunt2022 is complete

LogHunt2023 had success in Sainsbury's a few days ago. BBE 23rd December, but I'll make it work!
