Fish Pedicure

  • Good grief I couldn't think of anything worse!

For the man that has everything, and likes the idea of salon treatments, I would suggest a neck back and shoulder massage session.
  • It sounds blissful to me. And I'm funny about feet, to the extent I rarely wear sandals and would be nervous of reflexology.

    But little fish..I want one!

I hate feet, can't stand them. However, I LOVED this. I did it at Happy Feet at the Trafford Centre. They didn't eat everything on my feet, but they did feel very soft afterwards. They also managed to highlight all the old blisters I had, which I didn't know about- so I sorted them out afterwards.

I highly recommend them! They are such cute little guys and they have a good suck. You soon get used to it!

    Wow quite a mixed reaction!
I found THIS place that I'm going to go for. The bloke I'm thinking for has had the usual massage and treatments, so this would be something that he would never think of to buy himself.

Ooooh I'm having a session of this in Nottingham as part of my hen day (pole dancing party, fish pedicure then meal and drinking :D), one of my friends has been and says it's brilliant, a bit ticklish at first but you get used to it.

they had one one the go in our local shopping centre (north london). it amazes me what they will do in public shopping centres - eyebrow plucking, teeth whitening..it'll be bikini waxes next. it looked absolutely gross. it is after all nothing more fancy than putting your feet in a tank with fish in that you allow to nibble at you. afaik they don't change the water between customers so your tootsies are also sharing space with the cheesy feet water of others (as well as fishy excrement of fish that have fed on manky human feet).

    feet and fish. yuk!

    leeches anyone?

I've never been to one so I don't know. I did find this on their website though...
Our eight state-of-the-art tanks are filtered and fed by a constant oxygen supply to ensure clean water and a healthy environment for the fish. In addition, they are sterilized using ultra-violet lights to minimize bacteria growth. We are committed to our clients´ comfort and safety and therefore we operate according to strict hygiene practices. Clients are provided with disposable slippers, and required to wash their feet and remove any chemicals within lotions and creams prior to submersion. Sore and broken skin is therefore not permitted in the pools.
