    Thank you so much to the OP, we had a lovely stay over New Year's Eve - 3 days for £60....incredible value, even with the expensive breakfasts...BTW chweetgurl we didnt pay any VAT. Thanks again OP!

    you will have been charged an extra £4 for VAT. look at your bank statement.

    it's stupid - but only a few of the hotels add on VAT (mostly the central london ones), all the others have it included.
