Happy New Year all, and belated birthday wishes to BB
Sea, no I don't I gave it up back in the end of 2009. I still have a few bits but really need to rehome them. I should have done it before the move but it was easier to get the movers to move the crate rather than looking through it all. I do quill and I cross sticth too but its very rare now, I would rather read or take the dog for a walk.
So its offical, I am now a 1/4 of a centry oldNot that it bothers me anyway but its a milestone I guess. And tomorrow is the first day on my savings mission. Every year I go shopping on my birthday so see the old year out and the new one in, but because I had to work we changed it to today instead :rotfl: I did however buy all practical stuff, the only indulgence was a S&G gift set that was reduced in the sale and a few fake flowers for my room. I came in under budget so that was good and tomorrow I shall be making a payment to my savings :T
I haven't made any resolutions this year. I kinda completed all my ones last year and although I do have to do more the fact is I can't be worrying all the time about a situation I may not be able to change. So I suppose my resolutions are really to save, watch the pennies and stop treating family/friends so much, we shall see
I hope everyones 2011 is all they hoped for and more :j0 -
Heeeeeeeeellllllllllllloooooooooooo
Glad to have found your diary again
I was thinking of you as I was driving back from the forest with the boy (random I know!) having just made the return myself - although totally not bothering with a diary, as I never posted
Glad to see things are going well for you, and you sound very positive about everything. Good luck with your saving mission!!

Hey Sarah, nice to see you around, I was only thinking of you earlier in December. I hope you are ok anyways, even though you arn't staring a diary. How is the boy, can't really call him little nowand the Oh, or is it best not to go there? Most of all I hope you are ok
So paid some pennies into my savings today, as promised, £140 :T Its a start. Thats some left over from my December wages so its all good, not long until payday this month too. I have about £47 cash in my purse which I really want to last until payday, which will be very easy. The only thing I know I need is cat litter and maybe a new litter tray, but that will not cost too much. I haven't spent anything so far this year (from the 2nd) so its all going well. My budget is done for next month and I have no extra bills to add, and I think I maybe able to strech out my food aswell if i am savvy. Still need fresh items however.
Have a great coming week all :j0 -

Four already  Glad OH is enjoying his job, considering the few months you went through with him last year. How are you? Still at Mr S? Glad things are looking up after 2010
Well first spends of the year, cat food, a get well card and some chocolates £4.97. Then I also bought a few drinks in work and all change went into my piggy. Total spends £7.00 not too bad although I need to buy a refillable bottle for work, its now on my 'to buy' list.
Another day tomorrow and I may transfer some more saves, if there is anything left in my account0 -
Another £18.49 into my savings account today, getting there :T No other spends and Mum purchased the cat litter but still need a litter tray and a bottle. Not doing too badly back on the waggon, the test is payday :rotfl:
Edit, opps I have just spent £26.00 on a new bag. In my defence I have been using an old £1 shop shopping tote for about a year now as I gave Mum my animal bag. I also bought a new bag and purse in the animal sale that arrived today and both need returning as they aren't very good, for me. So really this new order has cost me £9.50. Not too bad but it semi rules out my savings from todayThats £16.50 spent for January so far

Still at Mr S, glad Christmas is out of the way now (gets a bit annoying when it starts in October!) so we can get back to some 'normality'.... well, as normal as you're gonna get in retail!
