boots 75% off

Hello , i know i am jumping the gun so to speak as we havent yet had the half price sale but i was wondering if anyone out there can remember when the 75% sale starts at boots ??

i dont think they have an "official" date , i think boots managment play it by ear,like last year they postponed it for a week,as they possibly hadnt sold enough stock at half price....so what with the weather andthe economy,my guess is about sometime may 2011...lol:rotfl:

Update 19 Jan: Looks like we're still on course for the 75% off sale starting tomorrow in-store and online!

Update 12 Jan: MSE has heard from Boots that the sale will NOT be the 13th after all. It will probably be Wednesday, 20th Jan., according to multiple reports from those who work at or have inquired at Boots.

However, ours at the Trafford Centre did start on 13th Jan.

There is a thread for sale dates on the shop but don't drop board, perhaps you could request a merge from one of the board guides? Save thousands of women have near fatal heart attacks

I'm surprised they wait so long, things people ordered 3 weeks ago have not been delivered for Christmas! Mind you, by that standard, BHS and Thorntons should have started their January Sale a month ago frankly :mad:

True. I was not being rude though, all the sale dates/questions about sales dates, plus deliveries seem to be there, so I was merely suggesting that board

Thanks for the post nickydripping. Boots 75% off sale is always a big topic here, so it's great to see it has a thread all of its own.

I have a head like a sieve I am afraid, so I cannot remember when it started last year. But I am sure someone will be along very soon who will remember. :T

But it does relate to the Christmas/50% sales in general,

and NOT

the Boots 75% off sale, which is what the seasoned Bootsers are really waiting for. After all isn't that why Boots give us our points in the first place. :rotfl::rotfl:

50% off is nice but 75% off is truly taking advantage of our Advantage Card.

Many years of Boots sales have taught me this.........

If you really really want an item, and it is in the 50% off sale, buy it. Chances are it won't be around for the 75% off sale, especially if it is popular item.

Better to have 50% discount on something than 75% on nothing.
