Thought that was a reference to their tax avoiding activities - but that's 90% off!
Boots of Nottingham - now based in Switzerland to avoid most of their UK Corporation Tax.
Now there's a company that should be ashamed of itself. :mad:0 -
why do people post non grabbits on the grabbit board !0

Sale did start on January 20th so I should imagine it would be around about the same time for this oneNew Year's Resolution: To tolerate fools more gladly, provided this does not encourage them to take up more of my time!0

There is nothing that is more than a Grabbit, than the Boots 75% sale! Just look at the number of pages the Soap & Glory OOTW has generated. :T
And when the sale does start instore, people will develop octopus arms, so that when they spot a product they can Grabbit off the shelf.
Boy, am I getting excited!
xx
PS - Thanks for the reminder Polls, I'd forgotten that!0 -

you are missing the point, this is not a grabbit ony a question and should have been posted on another board instead of this one, just to get more views0 -
Not a Grabbit!
The Boots 75% sale isn't until mid/late Jan.
Um, isn't there a pretty major holiday before then?
Please get a grip!0 -
can i first apoligise for putting my post on the wrong bit SO SORRY x
was only thinking ahead as all the other sale bits have been discussed x sorry again x0 -
Last year (well, Jan 2010 I mean) it did indeed start on 20th Jan, as the weather had been so awful that they hadn't sold as much as planned at 50% so gave it another week before going down to 75% off. In most other years it's been around the 14th-15th Jan. I have the dates in my diaries if I look back (yes I'm that anal!) and I'm guessing 2011 will start no earlier than Wed 12th Jan and possibly up to a week later.0
