This weather is not normal!

  • We've been in Goa for a few weeks now and the weather is just not
normal. We've had drizzle a couple of times and tonight the temperature
is forecast to drop below 20 degrees C!!!!!!
We might even have to turn the air conditioning off.
I gather that in the UK you have had some 'festive' type weather. You could save a lot of money by leaving Britain for the winter. Think about it,
NO heating bills - well that's my money saving tip for today - I hope it helps.

Merry Xmas from Bob the Saver.

Yup, the weather is all over the place alright.
I'm sat here on a sun lounger in Thailand and whiel it's hot and humid the sun hasn't been out for a couple of days and the locals say it's never normally like this in December.

Not that I'm complaining, mind you. Even with some cloud cover the tan is coming on fine and just doesn't need as much factor slapped on.

Hang on a minute ...I've just got to sign for a couple of ice-cold beers for the missus and I.That's another three quid well spent.

Anyway, where was I ... yup, not much sun but nice and warm in the upper 20's and the sea is nice and warm too.

I see there's a bit of bother back in Blighty with it being a bit chilly.

Never mind ...keep calm and carry on.

A Merry Christmas from the Nobster.

  • Ahh but you are missing out on the community spirit that has come alive now that we are snowed in. You can`t beat muilled wine and mince pies and carol singing by candlelight on a very cold and crisp winters evening. It is FANTASTIC. You can keep your heat, tsunamis and cheap booze

Don't forget the friendly people, wonderful cheap food, beautiful scenery, the world-class diving and the heat.

    Did I mention the heat ? :D

PS: I see there's more snow on the way ...

I'm so pleased that it's the same as the weather we've been having
because sometimes at this time of year in the UK it's totally cr*p.
