T-mobile ETP
Hello.
I have a 12 month contract with T-mobile that ran from 17/18 December 2009 and is was due to end yesterday.
3 days ago i got a new contract with with t-mobile through mobiles.co.uk. On the same day T-mobile called and asked about me upgrading my contract. There offer was not that good so i asked for a PAC and was given one that day. I was going to keep the phone number on asda PAYG as my new one will be for work and my company pay some of the costs if work related.
This morning i got my ebill from T-mobile and there is a charge of about £5 for terminating my contract early but i still have the same number/account with them and the bill shows a payment for £30 for the next month in advance.
Has T-mobile made an error please?
I tried calling this morning but they say there is a long wait due to the weather and few staff.

Did you give 30 days notice for ending your contract? you still need to do this / pay a disconnection fee.

I sent an email to them yesterday and got a reply saying they will call me.
3 pm yesterday they rang from outside the UK.
The person spoke so fast it could not understand her and i kept asking for her to repeat what she was saying to me.I got the impression she was reading a script because when i asked a question she just repeated what was said before.
She put me on hold to get a supervisor and then cut me off.She rang back and said a supervisor will speak to me now then cut me off again.
Supervisor rang me and said why was i putting the phone down and being rude to the women.I had to bite my tongue hard.
The bloke said i had wanted to terminate my contract early that was why there was a charge. When he looked again he said that i was out of contract and there was a mistake made by them when i asked for a PAC.
There was no apolagy offered just that the fee will reimbused but may take 31 days and if not done by then to call them.
How many other customers have they tried this trick on i wonder????????????0 -
poor CS admittedly, write to the directors office, you can emailm, details ar eon the website, they won;t be doing this on purpose but should be informed so they can resolve it. Have you paid the bill?Aug 24 - Mortgage Balance £242,040.19
