Santander appointments

Just a quick note for anyone wanting to take out the 2yr 3.25% isa bond with Santander before it disappears, (or maybe other stuff too), and is being frustrated by a long wait for an appointment to do so. I was quoted a four day wait by my branch - I then rang a Santander agency less than half a mile away, and was told no appointment needed, just come in to the counter.
