Picking up West Midlands... in Nottingham!

My digital TV is picking up all the local news from Birmingham and the West Midlands.
We moved house maybe half a mile, and our old house used to pick up East Midlands local news.

I've tried re-tuning, to no avail.

Any tips?

    depends what transpoder is the strongest signal in the area it could be that your quite close to the midlands transponder so its signals been picked up as it stronger.You could try adjusting the aerial more towards the east midlands transponder although check with your neighbours to see what there picking up.

    TV Aerial pointing at the " wrong " transmitter, previous occupiers probably preferred the West Midlands local news.

    I used to get both in Derby! On occasion I still have to rake around when I retune the TV (when it's actually plugged into the rooftop aerial which I haven't bothered doing recently) to find the right version of BBC as I find I quite often pick up Birmingham faintly and E.Mids strongly on an autotune.
