SS and Sassers: Sorry, but what's the point of catching the fish if you're not going to eat it? Did I miss something?

Just ignore the !!!!!!! He's probably sat at his screen looking at this (:hello: Tr@cker) doing his nut while we are laughing at him! :rotfl:
It's the anticipation of catching one and the buzz of hooking into it. Then the fight and putting it back after watching it swim away is really satisfying!
I could never kill a fish!

Ohh yes - then thought Oh noooo! I'll never be away from the site. Soooo adictive!
Mr Ss, didn't fish for 10 years as when ex-Oh and I spilt up it was painful as all our friends were anglers and joint friends. Moved away, gave all my gear to my stepdad and didn't really give it a thought until I saw a friend of mine on the front of a magazine about eight months ago..
Mentioned my mate's front page story to OH and started telling him stories and slowly started taking an interest again....
oh and huge, good luck with France - that's so exciting!
Lac Du Cassien used to be the mecca for big carp. Dunno about it now though as times have moved on quite a bit.....Current debt and mortgage: £25, 820.35 Debt/Mortgage at start: £92,598 (27/09/2010)

Did you know that in Croatia they eat carp at Christmas like we do Turkey?
And another interesting fact (well to me) is that carp aren't native to this country. They were brought over by the monks many moons ago as a food source!
