Woke up in the Forest of Dean called to Tintern Abbey then moved on a bit and had a snack by the riverside. It was a glorious day and the autumn colours of the countryside were something to be seen.

I caught a 9lb carp today.......! haven't fished for 10 yrs, my mate was at the lake and said "ere Sassers you have a go, lets see what girlies can do". So i cast out to a swirling fish and it took the bait. So excited I was swearing at the top of my voice! Mate wasn't happy cause I caught the biggest fish! Sorry to those who don't fish, but it was brilliant!

It wasn't boillies or chum mixer, it was bread of all things! Mirror carp - very pretty.

Not sure about the bunny slippers! :rotfl: Normally it's bare footed coz you can't find your shoes and then you stib your toe on the tree stump only to lift into the fish for it not to be on! And it's p!ssing down! :rotfl:
