    Hi DNMS
If you can afford to get the toothbrush go for it! I love mine and when my old one died a death after 6 years I replaced it straight away.
Well done with the budget this month :j
I start my budget on Payday (Friday :D) I have been making myself spread sheets for all my accounts as well as using my phone's accounts app.

    Nice one!

I bet you're really appreciating the spending that you are doing too. :T

You'll make it to Feb easily!
  • Well done DNMS.:T:T

You've certainly done better than me this month. Don't forget to start putting a few pennies aside for materials to make some blinds. ;)

  • Thank you S_B very kind of you to stop by with a suggestion :A they had elec toothbrushes in aldi for a fraction of the price (9.99) so I nabbed one and a load of heads for us and we're sharing I need to get my thinking cap on for his birthday now! We're going on holiday over Valentines day/his 30th/our anniversary (14/15/16th) so am thinking about some once in a lifetime excursion - there is a balloon trip over morocco so that may be it depending on cost obviously - being Morocco though I'm sure it won't be too much...

Stitchy I will at my next team meeting discuss with my team dates and then come back to you, sorry its taking so long - work is just manic for me at the moment! Have you been to Brighton? My fave place and just a stones throw away? was also thinking about looking for the free gym membership passes I have at the gym I used to use and then going for a suana :), also do you like swimming? My gym currently has this offer where I can get a week's free membership for a friend? well you'll need the cozzy for the sauna anyway! x

ok am down to pennies now went out for something to eat with a friend after work yesterday £13.25 which leaves me with 47p until Tuesday :p

Looks like I'm gonna squeeze in another 3 NSDs :T

to summerise the month - I can declare in terms of not spending money this has been a real success :j (obviously would have been a resounding success if it hadn't been for the aeriel, my car & dental treatment x 2 (£29.10 & £23.70) - but there you go that's life and while they were pretty painful they didn't put us back into debt ;))

    I have spent £60 "pocket money" in 31 days (less 47p :p)

We have joined the gym & have been going regularly - however we could do more!

I have taken up running again :j and as I have given up smoking my ability has improved no end :j:j

we went to a spa day incl a facial & visited a town we hadn't been to & went to the museum. I went to the largest second hand book store in the Country - somewhere that I have always wanted to go :T

went out to dinner 3 times (once at my best friends')

watched lots of excellent films with oh & ds (the kings speach, social network, old classics - its a wonderful world) - went to see the Black Swan at the cinema

read 1 book and have now started 1984

Have managed to get 15 NSDs under my belt and possibly 3 more by 01.02.11!

Am pretty happy with what I've done but also glad that it is coming to an end! There's only so much sacrifice a girl can take! :rotfl:
