OK I know this is the grabbit forum but I am shocked that all these shops open on Boxing day. Crikey can't they stay shut for two days and not put pressure on staff to come in.
I assume a lot of staff will have to work Christmas Day to put sale tags on etc.:eek:

Yes i agree i panicked then as i had planned my next sale on the monday wouldnt be able to go on boxing day:eek:

Sorry if I'm asking a dumb question here, but I thought there were laws restricting the opening times of businesses on a Sunday... so how come so many shops are open so early on Boxing Day? Again, sorry if I'm just being stupid!

Different Sunday Trading laws in Scotland. Shops tend to be open all day here.

For very many of these employees and temps this is the one day rate is at a premium and welcomed. I for one am happy to support this custom and spend on these days, and I know Im not alone. Keep the custom going.
