I don't think they aren't using validation codes at the moment...I had to change my mobile number a couple of days ago so I emailed pigsback and I had this reponse:
"We have removed this procedure for the time being, you will no longer be prompted to validate your account when claiming a reward. Please claim your reward, you will not be prompted to enter a validation code."0 -

I have now received a book from BCA saying I have asked to become a member and must pay 99p for the book, buy so many books from them etc etc etc. tried to phone on an 0870 number but they just don't answer the phone...can't see on T & C's how to get out of this without buying the minimum number of books. I'm sure I didn't ask to join when I entered the competition. Can anyone help???
I received a book club parcel from the mystery and thriller club a week ago with an introductory book for £1.99. Had no idea where it came from! searched on saynoto0870.com and found a geographical number 0207 7606500 and spoke to a very helpful lady who cancelled the account immediately and said i could keep the book for free;) . They sent me a confirmation letter too. I think you should ring the number above instead of emailing which is usually a waste of time.He who has hope has everything0 -
yes, i think they are getting members to put in thier mobile numbers to stop people having more than one account

Hiya,Thanks to all of your warnings,OH just got a parcel for some "children's books"-I immediately rushed to refuse to accept-saying we dint order, but had a tough time with the lady refusing to accept that books can turn up without me giving my address.Anyway, said I did not want them and returned them finally.Hope I dont get another one in my name again tomorrow.:mad:0
