I had a run in with BCA (or Mystery Thriller Book club) when I "signed up" through myoffers. They kept sending me "the editors choice" even though I didn't want it. I had an online account but could never select the "I don't want it" option.:mad::mad: If you go to their website you should be able to log in using your customer number (it will be on the invoice somewhere) and there is an option to print a return label
They then email you the return label as well so you can return it.
Eventually I contacted them via their website and told them in no uncertain terms that they did not make it clear that I had to- order X number of books within 12 months or be charged a "leaving" fee
- Pay for the return of parcels
- That they would send me out books I had not even ordered! Apparently you have to opt out MONTHLY to their editors choice or they send it too you.
HENCE I haven't entered any bookclub competitions no matter how many piggypoints I could get!
Readers Digest was soooooo much easier to unsubscribe from :rotfl:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -

Thanks for that...I hate them as much as you... I didn't want to enter the website as I had to validate my membership which would make it appear that I wanted to be a member... Will see how I get on with correspondance made so far...I will win!0 -
josie301 wrote:When did you send them off??? and how many did you send?
I sent some off (one each for the 3 kiddies) a couple of weeks ago - the kids loved colouring them and are looking forward to seeing if they 'win'
Thanks!
Hi josie301,
We did our pictures in the summer holidays and I think it took about 2 weeks for the reply possibly a little longer, I sent off 2 pictures in the same envelope but they were the old style Curly pictures. Each of my children received a certificate in a Do Not Bend envelope ! and a box with the piggy money box which is v cool ! Only sad thing can't find the pictures on pigsback-just wonder if its because they are of the old Curly ?!Good fun tho, good luck.:grinheart

It's 325 points for a piggybank. Have you got a child you could "borrow" (niece, nephew etc) to colour a picture in to get one freeSee the bottom of the page on the following link
