I recently placed my first CDWOW order via Pigsback and although I received the points for the order I did not receive the 200 bonus points everyone else seems to have got for their first order. I queried this with Pigsabck and got the following reply:
QUOTE:
Hi ......
UI am afraid that the bonus 200 points for your first purchase with CD WOW does not apply to GB members. I apologies but 200 points will not be credited to your account for your first purchase.
If you have any further queries, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Kind Regards,
Ciara

This seemes rather unfair to me. I know other GB members have got these extra 200 points, including members of my family.
Has anyone else experienced this?
Not sure if this was just a fluke in my case but the first order I placed with CD Wow I only got the regular points and not the 200 points bonus but when i placed a second order a few weeks later I got a 200 point bonus, I didn't understand it then and I don't understand it now.0 -
I was going to buy some CDs earlier today, then saw the banner about £1 off so waited until 12.15 to order them. I've still been charged the full priceHow sweet it is to do nothing..... and then rest afterwards.0

jennalicious wrote:I just checked CDWOW. I know that X-Men 3 was 9.99 before this and it's still showing at 9.99. So no £1 off there!
Maybe the discount comes off at the end of placing your order. It is only a two hour offer so I doubt they would alter all the individual prices on site for such a short time period.
Presumably you did go to the CDWOW site through Pigsback as that is where I noticed the £1.00 off Happy Hour offer (sorry I didn't actually say that earlier).
Edit: Just read snitterlings post. Maybe the discount doesn't come off at the end after all.0 -

I went through almost all of the checkout just to make sure that it wasn't going to come off and I checked through pigsback and without going through pigsback.
When they've had their happy hours before, it's shown the savings.0 -

'Fraid my confirmation email is for the full amount. As I'd been going to buy the CDs anyway, I suppose I can't complain but another £2 off would have been nice. Who could I contact about it - Pigsback or CD Wow?How sweet it is to do nothing..... and then rest afterwards.0 -
Does anyone know where I can find the 1000 pt CD-WOW vouchers, can only find 2000 pt vouchers. You'll Never Walk Alone0

I think you get an extra £1 worth of PiggyPoints instead of £1 physically off your order which, in my opinion, is a bit misleading!
