Bit like tesco saying buying food is stupid.

Who is this desperado anyway? Use of "believe me" and "you won't be attractive to the opposite sex if you rent"?

    No surprises you dig it.

If everyone listend to, and acted on the advice "renting is dead money", where would we be ?

For some, renting is a good idea. For many, they have no option but to rent. For a few that choose to rent rather than buy for financial gain, it is a risk. I expect the number of people that do that is small, but it seems to give the bulls pleasure, so at least it's a win-win situation.

But he is absolutely correct. Especially when he says "owning a home provides a physiological sense of stability, adulthood and independence". This explains the evil, possessed of the devil crazies over on HPC, visa vie they are all physiologically damaged.

To those who need such a thing to provide psycological wellbeing.

Hence again, why you dig it.

Dig it? Passing it on to help others as I'm concerned FTB listen to ghouls and end up renting and putting their life on hold working and forming out for someone elses mortgage. Not sure why you think that is right, fair, or even noble.

Talking of mental issues, you might want to:
1/ Look up how to spell that.
2/ When you know how to spell it, look up what it means.

I sometimes think I'd be better shutting up on this forum. Your posts do a far better job of damaging the bullish arguments, and posters, than I ever could.

Renting has worked out well for me, my last 6 homes were taken over by Romanian immigrant squatters, I was able to just say 'f*** it, i'm gone', however if I had bought I would have lost tens of thousands in legal fees not to mention several ounces of hair.

well, like tesco saying that all of the products that make up their entire sales portfolio are !!!! and for losers.

my gut feel is that the blogger just might have been looking to sell up [at the time he wrote this three years ago].
    FACT.

As is renting the prostitute. However the benefits of being able to ditch them after one night as opposed to owning a wife cannot be denied :)
