Where can we buy a cheap and comfortable house?

Go onto Rightmove and put the name of a county in the search box and click on lowest price first. Do this county by county and you'll find most of the cheapest ones in the country. You're the best judge of what 'comfortable and good condition' is - I have no idea of your standards..................
....I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)

Ask sibley will he sell his slum in Bangkok? you will have to get rid of the lady boys.It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.0 -

Actually, I was only reading the local paper last night and I noticed an advert for a house in Maesteg, South Wales, Roughly 20 miles from Cardiff right on the M4, Three bedroom semi-detached house, in excellent condition, with rear and front gardens, new kitchen and bathroom, 38,000 thousand pounds.
You cant get any cheaper than that.
Yep, Wales is awesome.
If you've got £90k to spend, get a nice little terrace with a garden on a nice residential area in a City with awesome transport links.
If you've got £20k to spend, get a terrace of 2-bed cottages in Merthyr Tydvil (no employment there but it's cheap).
If "comfortable" to you means a little village in the countryside, well you can't beat the view in Wales.
