Three changed conditions, huge bill this month
Hi!
In Spring I got a 24 month contract with Three mainly because they were still offering unlimited internet. I recently started getting messages that I'm about to use up my internet allowance. When I called them up about it, they said that the terms and conditions have changed and that the word 'unlimited' now means 500MB per month.
Now, since I spoke to them I accidentally left my phone on synching Spotify playlists overnight and I woke up to see a message saying I now have spent 75 pounds on top of my monthly rate.
I have then two questions: is Three allowed to change terms and conditions like that; and is there anything I can do about the bill?
Many thanks in advance...

Three have not changed anything about your contract, they have stopped using the word unlimited as it never was, if you read your contract you will always see. Fair usage policy applies to anything that is billed as unlimited. Your fair usage policy was 500mb, Three have simply made it more transparent by putting the fair use policy in now instead of a misleading word, which BTW the other networks still use.0

Depending on your monthly tarrif you could jump over to their "1-plan" which *IS* unlimited. might cost a couple of £ more a month..Laters
