laptop won't switch on

Hi wonder if anyone can help. My laptop ran out of power completely last night and I charged and tried to switch it on this morning and it won't. Laptop is only about a month old. Is the battery done in already?

Was there any indication that the laptop was charging?

It could be that the charger is broken, hence it won't turn on

When you plug the charger in, does the "AC" light / "plugged in" light illuminate?

Well the start button is lit with its led light, it wasn't on charge when it switched itself off last night, it doesn't show that it is charging though, you may be right

As I said the start button lights up, there is usually a little lit up symbol to say it is charging though
