Help Using GPRS/WAP with Motorola V3
I am so thick and despite reading the motorola booklet don't seem to be able to get the answer I need.
I have never used the web on my phone - no real need, but found out today that lots of areas in Norwich are offering free broadband (courtesy of the council) and you can also use it on your phone.
I went on Virgins site and set up my phone for Virgin GPRS, but have no idea what I have to do if I want to connect to the free service. There is no advice on the council website
http://www.norfolkopenlink.com/connect/connect.htm
unless I am being really stupid and have to go the website they say on that page - but won't I already be connected and paying with Virgin?
Any help would be really grateful.

Surely what they are offering is access to a wireless network? You will need a wireless (Wifi) enabled computer/pocket pc/mobile device to connect.
You will not be able to connect via a motorola V3.
Wifi and GPRS are completely different things0 -
